DJShop Mixer is the new software project by DJShopItalia dedicated to those who want to mix music with a clear, direct, and recognizable interface. The first public version of the journey is identified as Alpha 0.1: it is not yet a definitive product, but a concrete basis on which we are verifying stability, workflow, and essential functions.
What Alpha 0.1 includes
The core of the program is a two-deck mixer. Each deck is designed to load and control a track, display the waveform, and manage the main parameters useful during a mix. In the center, we find the mixer, the crossfader, and the necessary controls to intuitively switch from one track to another.
- two decks with waveform display;
- central mixer and crossfader;
- integrated music library;
- loading of MP3, WAV, and FLAC files;
- BPM analysis and synchronization;
- DJ set recording and saving;
- interface designed to be readable even for beginners.
Why we are developing DJShop Mixer
Many professional software are powerful but can be complex or less accessible in the initial stages. The goal of DJShop Mixer is to build a more immediate experience, without losing sight of the functions that truly matter: preparing music, understanding rhythm, making transitions, and recording your work.
The project originates in Italy and brings the DJShopItalia identity into the software as well: equipment, DJ culture, and technology united in the same ecosystem.
Current status of the project
Alpha 0.1 means that the software is in the development and testing phase. Functions may change, the interface may be improved, and some parts still require optimization. We will communicate advancements without presenting features as definitive if they are not yet.
Next steps
Priorities include audio stability, more robust library management, BPM analysis precision, recording improvements, and testing on different hardware configurations. Official updates will be published on the DJShopItalia blog.
DJShop Mixer is an original DJShopItalia project. Follow the roadmap and share which functions you consider essential in modern DJ software.
